Do not cut the yarn once you have completed the 2nd leg.

8. Merge the two legs together. Joint the yarn with a sc to the 2nd leg, crochet around 11 sc, then keep working on the other leg, 12 sc. (24)

Crochet 13 ch, in the 2nd ch 1 sc, 5 sc, (3 ch, in the 4th ch 1 sc, 2 sc)x2, on the other side: 3 sc, 3 ch, in the 4th ch 1 sc, 2 sc, 3 ch, in the 4th ch 1 sc, 5 sc, 1 sl st. Leave a long tail. 

Leave a long tail. 
Sew the arms between round 17th and 18th on the body.

Embroider the eyes.
